INDICATION FOR USE
The TENS and IF modes are often prescribed for:
• Symptomatic relief of chronic intractable pain
• Reduction of
• Post-traumatic acute pain and edema
• Post-surgical acute pain and edema
The EMS and RUSSIAN modes are often prescribed for:
• Relaxation of muscle spasms and edema reduction
• Prevention or retardation of disuse atrophy
• Increasing local blood circulation
• Muscle re-education
• Maintaining or increasing range of motion
• Immediate post-surgical stimulation of lower
leg muscles to prevent venous thrombosis
