• WARNING! During hot air frying, hot steam is released through the air outlet openings.
Keep your hands and face at a safe distance from the steam and from the air outlet
openings. Also be careful of hot steam and air when you remove the pan from the
appliance. Risk of burns.
• Make sure the ingredients prepared in this appliance come out golden-yellow instead
of dark or brown. Remove burnt remnants. Do not fry fresh potatoes at a temperature
above 180 °C (to minimise the production of acrylamide).
BEFORE FIRST USE
UNPACKING
• Carefully unpack the Air Fryer and remove any packaging material and check all the
parts are undamaged. Do not use your appliance if it has been damaged or if the
power cord or plug is damaged.
• Check that the scope of delivery is complete.
• Remove any promotional labels or stickers from the appliance before the first use. DO
NOT remove the appliance data plate.
DANGER – The plastic bags used to wrap this appliance or the packaging may
be dangerous. To avoid risk of suocation, keep these bags out of reach of
babies and children.
INSTALLATION
Prior to the first use it is necessary to heat up the appliance without food as residual
coating could cause a small amount of odour or smoke to form. This is normal and
completely harmless. Please ensure sufficient ventilation.
1. Place the appliance on a dry, stable, level and heat-resistant surface. Ensure that
there is enough space all around.
2. Clean the appliance and its accessories as described in “CLEANING AND CARE”.
3. Heat up the Air Fryer in manual mode at 200 °C for 20 minutes without food. To do
so plug in and press
for 3 seconds to unlock the touchpad. Now press the or
buttons to set the temperature. The time can be set by pressing the or
buttons. Press and hold the buttons to enter fast mode.
4. Press
to turn on the Air Fryer.
5. Once the set time has expired you will hear a beep sound. The appliance switches
o automatically and goes into standby mode.
