Acidic Cleaning Instructions
& Routine Maintenance
Many locations have excessive mineral content in the source water
that can build up inside the ionizer over time and cause blockage.
A routine acidic cleaning of the ionizer chamber will help maximize
the life and performance of your ionizer by reducing the build-up of
these minerals.
In areas with heavy mineral content, this is recommended once a
week. It is also recommended to do this procedure in the evening as
it takes several hours to be eective.
• Turn ionizer on by pressing ON/OFF (power) and set it on acid level 3
• Once ionizer starts producing water, count to 15
• Press ON/OFF (power) to stop the ionizer from producing water
• Let the water “soak” in the chamber overnight (12-24 hours)
• Run the unit again on acid level 3 for 5 minutes to rinse the
minerals from the machine
• Return the unit to normal operation
