Why is supply air cold from my Lifebreath Air Handler?
    • R
      Rose DelacruzAug 20, 2025
Cold supply air from Lifebreath Air Handlers can be due to: * Poor location of supply grilles, causing airflow to irritate occupants. Solution: Locate grilles high on walls or under baseboards; install ceiling-mounted diffusers or grilles to avoid direct airflow on occupants. * Extremely cold outdoor temperature. Solution: Turn down the HRV supply speed. A small duct heater (1 kW) could be used to temper the supply air. * Placement of furniture or closed doors restricting air movement. Solution: If supply air is ducted into the furnace return, the furnace fan may need to run continuously to distribute ventilation air comfortably.
