Overview

This document is a product use guide for the Lifeplus T663 Washing Machine, providing comprehensive information on its installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Function Description

The Lifeplus T663 is a top-loading washing machine designed to clean and dewater clothes. It offers various washing programs and water level selections to accommodate different types of laundry and soil levels. The machine is equipped with safety features such as a child lock and mechanisms to detect imbalances or open lids during operation.

Important Technical Specifications

The manual provides a table detailing washing capacity and detergent usage based on the weight of clothes and selected water level. For example:

  • For 5.5-12 lbs of clothes, water levels 5 or 6 are recommended, corresponding to 845-913 oz of water and 1.4-1.6 oz of washing powder.
  • For 3.3-5.5 lbs of clothes, water levels 3 or 4 are recommended, corresponding to 676-744 oz of water and 1.1-1.2 oz of washing powder.
  • For less than 3.3 lbs of clothes, water levels 1 or 2 are recommended, corresponding to 507-575 oz of water and 0.9-1.0 oz of washing powder. The drain pipe height should be less than 47 inches for proper drainage, and if extended, the inner diameter should be no less than 1.2 inches and the total length no more than 59 inches. The machine operates on a 110V socket with a grounded wire. Hot water above 50°C should not be used.

Usage Features

The washing machine offers a user-friendly control panel with several programs and settings:

  • Programs: Standard, Spin, Quick, Soak, Gentle, Air Dry, Retain Water, and Tub Clean. These programs cater to different washing needs, from heavily soiled clothes to delicate items and quick washes. The "Speedy" program is fixed and does not allow water level adjustment.
  • Water Level: The water level defaults to "3 gears" (medium water level) but can be adjusted from 1 to 6 gears (low, medium, or high) when the machine is turned on or paused. Water level adjustment is not available during "Speed" and "Spin" programs. The machine also features automatic water replenishment if the water level drops during "Soak," "Wash," or "Rinse" cycles.
  • Start/Pause: This button initiates or pauses the selected program. Settings can be changed during a pause, but the timing will restart.
  • Child Lock: Activated by simultaneously pressing the "Water Level" and "Program" buttons during normal operation, this feature disables all buttons except "Power" to prevent accidental changes. It can be released by pressing the same two buttons again.
  • Power: Turns the machine on or off. If the machine is not started within 10 minutes, it automatically powers off. It also beeps and powers off automatically after washing is complete.

Preparation Before Washing:

  • Connect the water inlet pipe and open the faucet valve.
  • Fasten buttons and pull zippers on clothes.
  • Avoid overloading; jeans and bulky clothes should be loosely placed.
  • Check clothes for suitability for machine washing.
  • Separate clothes that are prone to fading.
  • Manually pre-soak clothes that do not absorb water easily.
  • Remove dirt from muddy or dusty clothes, pre-treating dirty parts with detergent.
  • Turn over clothes prone to pilling or with long pile.
  • Do not wash clothes contaminated by chemicals.
  • Use a net bag for small, easily entangled, worn, or plush items.
  • Clean out pockets and remove coins, hairpins, etc.

Detergent Usage:

  • Washing Powder: Can be melted directly in the machine by adding a small amount of water (lowest level), running for 30 seconds, then adding laundry and selecting the appropriate water level. Alternatively, dissolve washing powder in 86°F water before adding. Liquid detergent is recommended for express programs. Low-foam detergent is advised.
  • Bleach: Dilute bleach in a separate container after the machine fills to the specified water level, then slowly pour it into the washing bucket. Avoid using bleach on colored or patterned clothes. Bleaching agent should not directly contact laundry. Powder bleach should be melted before use.

Maintenance Features

Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the longevity and performance of the washing machine:

  • Filter Cleaning: After each use, promptly remove lint debris from the filter. To clean, take down the filter, open it, remove sundries, wash with water, and reattach.
  • Outside Body Cleaning: Wipe off stains on the chassis with a moist, soft cloth. Do not clean directly with water. Use neutral detergent. Avoid thinners, gasoline, or alcohol.
  • Inlet Valve Joint Cleaning: Over time, the filter of the inlet valve port can become blocked. To clean: turn off the faucet, turn on the power for 5 seconds (to allow water to flow into the bucket), then turn off the power. Remove the water inlet pipe joint and use a brush to clean sundries on the filter.
  • Complete Cleaning: After use, turn off the faucet and immediately drain all water from the barrel. Unplug the power plug for maintenance. Wipe the machine's surface and water drops in the bucket with a soft cloth. Leave the top cover open for about an hour to dry.

Troubleshooting Guide:

The manual provides a detailed troubleshooting guide for common issues:

  • Washing machine not working/light not shining: Check for power failure, loose plug, dead socket, or unpressed power switch button.
  • Not draining or draining too slowly: Ensure the drain pipe is lowered, not stepped on or squeezed, and free from blockages, bends, or kinks.
  • No water or water too slow: Check if the faucet is turned on, if the inlet valve filter is clogged, or if water pressure is too low/cut off.
  • Weird noise: Level the washing machine, organize clothes, and remove foreign objects (like coins) from the tub.
  • Water leakage at inlet pipe joint: Tighten the joint screws or the connector between the water inlet pipe and the washing machine's inlet valve.
  • Machine not spinning: May be caused by laid-down clothing activating the safety switch, tilting of the machine, or an open top cover. Reorganize clothes, level the machine, and ensure the lid is closed.
  • Spin starts intermittently: Adjust balance to prevent clothes from being misplaced.
  • Machine not spinning when "Spin" is selected: The program sets a drain time, and dehydration starts after a period.
  • Small amount of water from drain pipe on first use: This is residual water from factory inspection.
  • Final spin displays "rinse and water-in": The safety switch operates due to laundry imbalance. The machine will refill with water and agitate to eliminate deviation, then dehydrate again.

Fault Detection Guide:

The machine displays digital codes for specific faults:

  • E0: Water level sensor abnormal or plug loose. Solution: Manual power off or repair sensor.
  • E1: Water level still below set level after 20 minutes of filling. Solution: Open top cover, check for "no water" issue, then close cover.
  • E2: Water level not dropping to set level after 5 minutes of draining. Solution: Open top cover, check for "no water" issue, then close cover.
  • E3: Lid opened during spin. Solution: Close top cover.
  • E4: Dehydration imbalance alarm. Solution: Open top cover, level clothes, then close cover.
  • E5: Door cover opened during child lock operation. Solution: Close top cover.
