CHARGE THE BIOLUX
• Remove the small silicone stopper from the BioLux charging port
on the base of the handle.
• Plug the USB-C end of the charging cable into the charging port.
• Plug the standard USB end of the charging cable into the power
adapter plug.
• Plug the power adapter plug into a standard wall outlet. You will
hear a sound, and the battery indicator LED will flash to indicate
the device is charging.
• Fully charge the BioLux, takes 3–4 hours.
NOTE: When fully charged, the battery indicator on the LED
screen will be full.
PREPARE TO USE THE BIOLUX
• Find a comfortable sofa or chair. You may also wish to grab a
pillow to ensure your treatment session is comfortable.
• Remove any heavy clothing, shoes, and metal jewelry or metal
accessories (snaps, zippers, buttons, etc.) near the treatment
area.
• Place the pair of protective eyeglasses over your eyes.

USE THE BIOLUX
• Press and hold the On/Off button on the control panel for
2 seconds to turn on the BioLux. You will hear a sound. The
LED screen will light up and display the default treatment time
of 5 minutes.
• Adjust the treatment time, if desired. It's a good idea to start
with a short working time when you are first using the BioLux.
• Tap the On/Off button again to begin treatment.
• Move the head of the device gently over the treatment area.
Direct skin contact is best, but you may move the device up to
½" away from the treatment area.
• Tap the On/Off button at any time to pause the treatment
session. Tap the button a second time to resume the session.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT SESSION
• Press and hold the On/Off button for 2 seconds to turn off the
BioLux, if stopping the treatment before the set working time
ends. The device will turn off automatically at the end of the set
working time.
• Unplug the device (if you were using during charging).
• Allow the BioLux to completely cool (wait at least 30 minutes)
before cleaning or storing.
WARNING: Do not use the device on or near your eyes or eyelids.
WARNING: Always wear the included pair of protective eyeglasses when
using the BioLux to protect your eyes. Never look directly into the laser
diodes (lights) without the protective eyeglasses as this can damage your
eyes. While near-infrared (NIR) light is not visible to the naked eye, it can
be particularly harmful for your eyes.
WARNING: Always make sure do a skin-sensitivity test before using the
BioLux for the first time.

NOTE: Be sure to remove any metal jewelry and accessories from the area
to be treated, including rings, belts, necklaces, and bracelets, before using
the BioLux. Do not use over clothing with metal snaps, zippers, or buttons.
