Slide alarm from back-plate.
Insert 3 x replacement ‘AA’ baeries
(nong polarity – see sketch)
Replace back-plate and test the alarm

Under normal operang condions, the baeries will last a minimum of one year.
NOTE: Constant exposures to extreme temperatures and humidies may affect baery life.
These baeries can be purchased from your local retailer.
End-of-life - This alarm will chirp twice every 30 seconds and the red LED flashes twice aer at least 7
years operaon to let you know it has reached its end of life. A replacement needs to be purchased.
