Why is my Lifestyle SRPG1093L grill not getting hot enough?
    • C
      Colleen CortezAug 19, 2025
The temperature setting may be too low, or the grill lid is being opened too often or for too long. Also, there might be no fire burning. To fix this, adjust the Control Knob to a higher temperature and only open the grill lid when necessary. Inspect the Pellet Hopper to ensure it is full and check the Fire Pot to make sure it does not contain too much ash. Remember not to touch any hot parts and allow the grill to cool first.

Why does my Lifestyle SRPG1093L Smokers grill produce excess or discolored smoke?
    • T
      Tamara SmallAug 22, 2025
Excess grease build-up or dirty components could be the cause. When the grill is cool, remove and properly clean the components. It is good practice to burn off excess food after each use by setting the controller to High after food has been removed, allowing it to cook for about 10 minutes, and then properly shutting down the grill. Poor quality or damp wood pellets can also cause this issue, so inspect the wood pellets and replace them if needed. An excess amount of ash in the Fire Pot can also be the problem, so when the grill is cool, remove ash from the Fire Pot using a shop vacuum.

What to do if pellets aren’t being delivered into the Fire Pot of my Lifestyle Smokers grill?
    • C
      Catherine RamseyAug 28, 2025
Verify there are pellets in the Pellet Hopper and that they are not stuck on the side walls. If they are stuck, gently bump the hopper walls to shake the pellets loose and/or add more pellets. If the grill has run out of pellets, allow up to 5 minutes for them to travel to the fire pot. Verify the auger motor is operating as described in SETUP PROCEDURE.

    • M
      Michael DanielsAug 31, 2025

What to do if my Lifestyle Smokers grill displays an unexpected temperature?
    • J
      Jordan MathisSep 3, 2025
The grill might be exposed to direct sunlight or high ambient temperatures. Use the grill in a shaded area when possible. This will not harm the grill, but it can cause incorrect temperature readings. Briefly open the grill lid to help reduce the temperature if needed.

What to do if the fire will not remain lit in my Lifestyle Smokers grill?
    • L
      Lisa WiseSep 9, 2025
Excess ash in the Fire Pot may be the problem. Unplug the grill and wait until the grill cools down. Then open the Cooking Chamber, use caution to remove the Cooking Grates, Grease Drain Pan and Flame Tamer from inside the grill. And then remove all unburned pellets and ash from inside and around the Fire Pot. A shop vacuum with a hose is ideal for this task. After cleaning the ash, reinstall the Flame Tamer, Grease Drain Pan and the Cooking Grates into the grill. Initiate the GRILL LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS.

First, ensure the unit is plugged in and verify there is power at the IEC standard socket. If the igniter isn't working, check the 3 amp fuse on the back of the control and replace it if needed. Ensure the control knob is in the OFF position, then turn it to SMOKE to light up the LCD screen. If the igniter isn't working, remove the warming rack, cooking grates, grease tray, and flame tamer, then visually inspect the igniter while starting the unit using the Lighting Instructions. For the auger motor, remove the cooking grate, grease drain pan, and flame tamer, then visually inspect the auger feed while turning the unit on. Remove the Control Board to inspect the wires and connections. If these steps don't resolve the issue, call customer service or the distributor for replacement parts, de...

What to do if my Lifestyle Smokers grill will not achieve or maintain stable temperature?
    • W
      William TaylorNov 24, 2025
Insufficient air flow through the fire pot could be the issue. Check the fire pot for ash build-up or obstructions. Verify the blower fan motor is functioning, the air intake is not blocked, and that the auger tube does not have any blockage. Perform a quick test: remove the cooking grate, grease drain pan, and flame tamer. Ensure all the above has been done, start the grill, turn the control knob to "High," and wait for 15 minutes. Check that the flame produced is bright and vibrant. Insufficient or poor fuel could also be the cause. Verify the hopper is full of wood pellets made for barbecues and that they are dry. If wet, remove all pellets and refill with dry wood pellets made for barbecues. A dirty or blocked temperature sensor can also cause this, so clean the temperature sensor and ...
