2 Product Specifications
Each purchase of your Limm Traction Cleats come with a pair of snow cleats (according to the size
of your choosing) and an instruction manual.
2.1 Product Key Features
A. The Limm Traction Cleats are made of TPE (Thermoplastic elastometers) which is a black
rubber top, and 201 steel for the crampons and spikes. The spikes and crampons vary in
size, shape and number depending on the variation you purchased and the size of the
product.
B. The TPE material makes the cleats durable and flexible even in low temperatures.
C. Portable and easy-to-store
D. Full coverage over the foot with different types of crampons for different needs.
2.2 Use and Safety Instructions
A. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes and to securely tie the shoelaces to avoid stepping
on them.
B. Before using the traction cleats, check them for any scratches, holes, gouges, or punctures,
especially after the product has been shipped to you. Inspect the traction cleats before
and after every use to ensure the product’s good condition and fit. If you find any defect,
DO NOT USE the cleats and contact Customer Service for a replacement.
C. To avoid injury handling the spiky cleats, be sure to hold the rubber part or the chain part
of the crampons when pulling it out from the carry bag.
D. To get prepared to put your cleats on, you may first sit comfortably in a chair and put your
feet in a small elevated platform or a low stool. Then, slowly put your spiky cleats on your
shoes. Do not try to put them on while standing, to avoid back strain.
E. Be sure to wear the spiky cleats as snuggly fit as possible. Inspect the chains and spikes and
make sure that these are well- distributed at the bottom of the shoe, by adjusting the
rubber frame if necessary.
F. When walking in your Limm Spiky Cleats, trekking or hiking an uphill road or even off-road,
always keep in mind to secure your footing as you move in the icy surface.
