* The oil watch system is designed to
prevent engine damage caused by
an insufficient amount of oil in the
crankcase. Before the oil level can
fall below a safe limit, the oil watch
system will automatically stop the
engine (the engine switch will remain
in the ON position). If the oil watch
system stops the engine, the oil
watch lamp will flash when the
starter is operated, and the engine
will not start. If this occurs, oil must
be added.
