NOTE: Maximim hose capacilies are based on SAE specied hoses.
Exceeding these capacities voids warranty. Refer to DELIV-
ERY HOSE INSTALLATION for proper hose to reel assembly.
IMPORTANT
THIS HOSE REEL ROLLER OUTLET REQUIRES 3-5/8” BALL STOPS, MODELS 85515, 85516 AND 85517.
DO NOT USE MODELS 83515, 83517 AND B3517 (3” O.D.) BALL STOPS WITH THIS OUTLET.
DESCRIPTION
Model 82206 unit is a heavy duty lub reel designed for bus and
truck lubrica tion, or wherever extra heavy duty
con struction and longer length delivery hose is required. The
reel can be in stalled as a single unit or in multiple
congurations.
Reel features include a reel latch that automatically locks at
desired positions as the hose is extended and releases with a
short pull on the hose.
OWNER/OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITY
It is the owner/operator’s responsibility to properly use and
maintain this equip ment.
The instructions and warnings contained in this manual shall
be read and under stood by the owner/operator prior to op-
erating this equipment.
If an owner/operator does not understand English, the con-
tents of this manual shall be explained in the owner/operator’s
native language to assure the owner/operator compre hends.
It is the owner/operator’s responsibility to maintain the legibility
of all warning and instruction labels.
The owner/operator shall retain this manual for future
reference to important warnings, operating and
maintenance instructions.

Systems which will be dispensing uids under pressure may
need to be protected by using a thermal relief kit, which will
safely limit the pressures caused by thermal expansion.
Please contact your local Lincoln distributor and refer to
Service Page Section K5, Page 31 for more details. Failure
to include thermal relief protection may cause damage not
covered under Lincoln’s warranty policy.

Owner Operator Responsibility

Assembly

Assemble Arbor and Ratchet Casting

Assemble arbor and ratchet casting to support assembly using hex head screws and nuts.

Lubricate V-ring Seal

Lubricate V-ring seal and place on arbor with lip facing away from ratchet.

Assemble Power Spring Assembly

Assemble power spring assembly onto arbor and ratchet casting until canister bottoms.

Lubricate V-ring Seal

Lubricate V-ring seal and assemble onto arbor with lip facing canister.

Assemble Axle

Assemble axle to sheave assembly using nuts.

Assemble Axle and Sheave Assembly

Slide axle through bearings and secure with washer and TRU-ARC, shimming as needed.

Rotate Sheave Assembly

Align sheave assembly mounting holes and secure with carriage bolts and nuts.

Assemble Roller Outlet Arm Assembly

Assemble roller outlet arm assembly onto bolts and secure with nuts.

Assemble Roller Outlet Assembly

Assemble roller outlet assembly to roller outlet arm using screws and lock nuts.

Assemble Swivel Assembly

Assemble swivel assembly in axle and tighten.

Assemble Adapter Assembly

Assemble adapter assembly into swivel assembly and secure with U-keeper.

Assemble Outlet Adapter

Assemble outlet adapter into axle and secure with U-keeper.

Assemble Hose Clamp

Assemble hose clamp to sheave assembly with carriage bolt and nut.

Assemble Latch Pawl

Assemble latch pawl to pawl pin on power spring assembly and secure.

Assemble Extension Spring

Assemble extension spring to latch pawl and carriage bolt, secure with locknut.

Installation

Delivery Hose Installation

Install hose on reel for smoother operation, using oil and securing outlet adapter.

Important Instructions

Set power spring tension by retracting reel two full revolutions and unlooping hose.
