18. Release the door cables (Fig. 78A) by removing the retainer pins ((Fig. 78C) from the door cable brackets
(Fig. 78B), on both sides of the ramp door.
NOTE: Leave the retainer pin (Fig. 78C) on the door cable or in the door cable bracket on the door so the
retainer pin does not get lost.

19. Gently lower the ramp door to the ground. The Lippert 3000 Series patio rail kit and ramp door are
now open, fully extended in the ramp position (Fig. 79).
A method of support, or the assistance of another person, to support the ramp door when removing
or attaching the door cables to extend the door to the ramp position is recommended.
