Usage Features

Placement:

  • The refrigerator should be placed on a flat, sturdy, well-ventilated indoor surface, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • A minimum top clearance of 30cm and a side clearance of 10cm from a wall are recommended for heat dissipation.
  • It is crucial to remove all packing materials, protective films, and internal cushions before use.
  • The appliance is not intended to be used as a built-in appliance.

Levelling:

  • The appliance has adjustable feet (wheels) for levelling. Rotate them left or right to adjust stability.

Door Reversal:

  • The door hinge can be reversed from right to left. This process involves dismantling the top hinge cover, top hinge, middle hinge, freezer door, bottom hinge, and adjustable foot, then reassembling them on the opposite side. Specific tools like a cross screwdriver, putty knife, and 5/16" socket and ratchet are required. Door stoppers also need to be moved.

Starting:

  • After initial placement, the refrigerator should remain still for half an hour before connecting to power.
  • It should run for 2-3 hours (or 4+ hours in summer) before placing any food inside.
  • The appliance should run continuously once started to avoid impairing its service life.

Temperature Control:

  • A temperature control knob allows adjustment. Turning it to "MAX" lowers the internal temperature, while turning it to "MIN" raises it. Users should adjust the temperature between "MAX" and "MIN" as needed.

Energy Saving Tips:

  • Locate the appliance in the coolest part of the room, away from heat and direct sunlight.
  • Allow hot foods to cool to room temperature before placing them inside.
  • Wrap foods properly and wipe containers dry to prevent frost buildup.
  • Avoid lining storage bins with materials like aluminum foil, which can hinder cold air circulation.
  • Organize and label food to minimize door openings and search times.

Safety Warnings:

  • Electrical: Use a dedicated, grounded power socket. Do not pull the power cord to unplug; grasp the plug directly. Do not damage the power cord. Do not use extension cords or ungrounded adapters.
  • Flammable Materials: Do not store explosive substances or flammable items inside or near the refrigerator.
  • Children: Supervise children to prevent them from playing with or getting trapped inside the appliance. Keep keys for locked doors out of reach.
  • General Use: Do not disassemble or reconstruct the appliance. Do not use mechanical devices to accelerate defrosting other than those recommended. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. Do not use electrical appliances inside food storage compartments unless recommended. Avoid touching frozen foods or metal containers with wet hands. Do not place heavy objects on top of the refrigerator. Unplug before cleaning or maintenance. Wait five minutes after a power failure before reconnecting to prevent compressor damage.
  • Food Contamination: Clean surfaces regularly. Clean water tanks if unused for 48h. Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers.

Maintenance Features

Overall Cleaning:

  • Frequency: Clean dust behind the refrigerator and on the ground regularly. Check and clean door gaskets regularly. Clean the interior regularly to prevent odors.
  • Procedure:
    1. Turn off power and remove all food, drinks, shelves, and drawers.
    2. Clean the interior with a soft cloth or sponge dampened with a solution of two tablespoons of baking soda and a quart of warm water. Rinse with water and wipe clean.
    3. Allow the interior to air dry naturally before turning on power.
    4. For hard-to-reach areas, use a soft rag, soft brush, or thin sticks.
    5. Clean bottle frames, shelves, and drawers with soapy water or diluted detergent, then dry.
    6. Wipe the outer surface with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or detergent, then dry.
  • Prohibited Cleaners: Do not use soap, scrub powder, spray cleaner, hard brushes, steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives (e.g., toothpaste), organic solvents (e.g., alcohol, acetone, benzene), boiling water, acid, or alkaline items, as these can damage surfaces or plastic parts. Do not rinse directly with water.

Defrosting:

  • Procedure:
    1. Power off the refrigerator.
    2. Remove all food and store it properly to prevent melting.
    3. Clear the drain pipe. Prepare water containers for defrosting and clean the compressor compartment draining tray.
    4. Allow natural defrosting or use an ice shovel (plastic or wooden) to remove frost.
    5. Hot water can be used to speed up defrosting, followed by drying with a towel.
    6. After defrosting, return food and power on the refrigerator.

Out of Operation:

  • Power Failure: During power failure, food can be kept for several hours. Minimize door openings and avoid adding fresh food.
  • Long-term Nonuse: Unplug, clean, and leave doors open to prevent odors.
  • Moving: Remove all objects, fix glass partitions, vegetable holders, and drawers with tape. Tighten levelling feet. Close and tape doors. Do not lay the appliance upside down or horizontally, and avoid vibrations. The inclination during movement should not exceed 45°.

LED Lamp Replacement:

  • Any replacement or maintenance of LED lamps must be performed by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
