Overview

This document is a user manual for the LIVOO Slow Juicer, model DOP102.

Function Description

The LIVOO Slow Juicer is a new type of juicer designed for low-speed, slow grinding of fruits and vegetables. Unlike traditional juicers, it separates juice and pulp through two different outlets. This design significantly improves the crush rate of vegetables and fruit juice. It is suitable for a wide variety of fruits and vegetables that yield juice, such as celery, spinach, carrots, apples, bananas, tomatoes, cucumbers, and balsam pear. However, it is not suitable for fruits and vegetables containing starch and should not be used to squeeze sugarcane.

Usage Features

Assembly: Before assembly, ensure the power cord is unplugged.

  1. Place the Juice bowl (1) on top of the main body, ensuring it locks into position.
  2. Insert the strainer holder (2) into the juice bowl.
  3. Place the strainer (3) into the strainer holder.
  4. Insert the Juice Auger (4) into the strainer.
  5. Insert the cap into the nozzle, pressing slightly until it is properly seated.
  6. Fit the Hopper (5) over the Juice bowl and turn it to lock into the main body.
  7. Position the pulp tank (6) on the left-hand side of the juicer's main body.
  8. Place the juice cup (7) under the Juicer spout.
  9. Slide the food pusher down the food chute (it only fits one way).

Operation: The juicer will only operate if the Juice bowl and lid are correctly assembled, serving as a safety feature.

  1. Thoroughly clean fruits and vegetables.
  2. Remove stones or hard seeds from fruits. Remove hard, inedible skins (e.g., melons, pineapples, mangoes) and citrus skins. For better-tasting citrus juice, also remove the inner white peel. Pit fruits with stones or hard seeds (e.g., mangoes, nectarines, apricots, cherries).
  3. Cut firm fruits/vegetables (carrots, apples) into small pieces to prevent issues. Large pieces should be chopped to fit the food chute.
  4. Ensure safety clamps are locked on the juicer lid.
  5. Turn the control switch to "On" to start juicing.
  6. Slowly press food down with the food pusher. Avoid rapid pressing, as it reduces effectiveness.
  7. CAUTION: Never insert hands or other objects into the food chute during operation.
  8. Juice flows into the juice cup, and pulp collects in the pulp bin.
  9. After juicing, set the control switch to "OFF," turn off power at the outlet, and unplug the juicer before disassembling.
  10. If the Juice Bowl is stuck, press the "R" (reverse) button for 3-5 seconds, repeating 2-3 times, then push the bowl upward while turning.
  11. The strainer is equipped with an auto-cleaning brush.

Disassembly (in order):

  1. Remove the food pusher.
  2. Remove the lid.
  3. Remove the juice Auger.
  4. Remove the strainer holder & strainer.
  5. Remove the juice bowl.

Juicing Tips:

  • Cut food items into small pieces for optimal extraction.
  • Do not input ice or frozen fruit.
  • Insert food at a regular speed, allowing all pulp to extract; do not rush.
  • For leafy greens or wheatgrass, mix them with fruits or other hard vegetables for optimal results.
  • Juice nuts only with other soaked foods or liquids.
  • Freshly made juice has the highest vitamin and mineral content.
  • The juicer can handle most fruit and vegetable varieties.
  • Bananas can be difficult to juice; if used, add them as the first or second ingredient.
  • The juicer is not suitable for very hard and starchy fruits/vegetables like sugarcane.
  • When juicing items of different consistency, juice soft fruit first (e.g., oranges), then hard fruit (e.g., apples) for maximum extraction.
  • Wrap herbs or leafy vegetables into a bundle or combine them with other ingredients on low speed.

Important Information: This appliance is not for professional use. It requires temporary stops during operation to prevent motor damage. Refer to the rating label for the maximum continuous usage time (KB xx min), and ensure breaks last at least 10 minutes. Pressing the "R" button lightly stops the juicer; over-pressing can damage the motor. The product prohibits idling before feeding fruits and vegetables.
