IF STANDOFF KIT IS BEING USED - INSTALL NOW
Stand-offs are used to prevent a hollow metal door from compressing during installation.
The kit is applied to the backside of the Front Plate.
Take the (6) threaded set screws that come in the Stand-off kit and thread them into the
backside of Front Plate.
Then thread the (6) Stand-off sleeves onto the exposed threads of the set screws until
making contact with the backside of the Front Plate.
Step 13 – Attach the Front Plate to the door
Step 13A – On the front side of the door, seat the Front Plate into the (6) counter-bored
E holes until ush and square with the door. Hold into position.
Tip: To hold the Front Plate in position apply a piece of
double stick tape to the back. Make sure not to cover gears or
spindle holes.

Stand-off Kit Install - thread set screws into
backside of front plate.
Stand-off Kit Install - thread sleeves onto set
screws
Stand-off Kits - available for 1 3/4” & 2” doors. This
install was on an 1 3/4” door
Stand-off Kit Installed

E holes until ush against the door
