Remotelock 7i - Salto Instructions

1. Fit the Salto latch as per the enclosed

instructions. It is backset 60mm. Offer up

the paper drillling template that is includ-

ed with the 7i and drill as above.

These instructions should be read in conjunction with the Remotelock 7i Installation manual.

As you are fitting the Salto mortice latch you do not require the 25mm barrel latch that is supplied with the 7i. In addition you do not need

the Fire Cup or Cable Tube.

2. On the keypad side, insert the spindle

and spring as shown

3. Insert the latch support pin on the in-

side of the front plate in either outer hole.

4. Thread the power cable and wifi an-

tenna cable through the top hole. Insert

the spindle into the spindle hole on the

keypad and offer up to the door.

5. This is how it should now look on the

inside of the door.

6. Fit the interior fixing plate and align-

ment insert over the spindle. Screw in the

3 fixing bolts, make sure these have been

cut to the right length. See installation

instructions. Connect the power cable and

the remove the alignment insert.

Door and Latch Preparation

Fit the Salto latch (60mm backset) and prepare the door by drilling holes using the template.

Keypad and Interior Assembly

Insert the spindle and spring on the keypad side. Position the latch support pin and route cables through the top hole.

Securing the Lock Unit

Offer the unit to the door, fit the interior fixing plate over the spindle, connect cables, and secure with bolts.

Internal Lock Body and Battery Installation

Install the internal lock body, pull through the Wi-Fi cable, and tighten screws. Insert batteries and connect the Wi-Fi antenna.

Handle Installation

Fit the internal handle onto the lock mechanism and then install the external handle in the same manner.
