6. Installing the Module (WLAN 70830 081)
Described as an example for the TV set ART 40,
also applicable for Connect 40“
MOS components
Avoid damage from electrostatic charging.
Observe the rules for handling MOS components.
Procedure
The following are required as a tool:
Screwdriver Torx T10, small fl at-nose pliers or tweezers
Preassembly of the WLAN antenna 3x MIMO (5)
Fasten the WLAN antenna 3x MIMO (5) on the antenna holder (6) with two screws M3 x 6 (7), as shown in Fig. 26 to 28,
page 56. You need a Torx T10 screwdriver for this.
The catching pins of the antenna holder must enter the holes of the conductor board WLAN antenna 3 x MIMO (5).
Preassembly of the WLAN holder (11)
For TV SETS: ART 40, Connect 40
Two contact foams (12) must be bonded to the WLAN holder (11) as shown in Fig. 30/31, page 56 so as to avoid
interference.
Installation of the preassembled parts in the TV set
Fasten WLAN antenna with holder in the TV set.
Use 2 screws M3 x 6 (6) for this. Follow Fig 34, Fig. 38, arrow 1, page 57.
Before installing the WLAN holder (11), an adjacent cable holder must be briefl y removed, whose hooks obstruct the sliding
path, Fig. 35, page 57. To unlatch the hooks, use the tweezers or small fl at-nose pliers.
Fasten WLAN holder (11) with 2 screws M3 x 6 (6), Fig. 32/ 36, page 57.
Reinsert removed cable holder after installing the WLAN holder (11).
Fasten WLAN conductor board on the WLAN holder with 4 screws M3 x 6 (6), Fig. 36, page 57.
The two cable holders (9), Fig. 10 are not required for these TV sets.
Route the three antenna lines as shown in Fig. 37 / 38, page 57.
Connect antenna lines coloured white to the top of the WLAN module (3).
Connect antenna lines coloured grey to the middle of the WLAN module (3).
Connect antenna lines coloured black to the bottom of the WLAN module (3).
Fix antenna lines with felt strip Fig. 38, arrow, page 57.
Connect cable harness (4), as shown in Fig. 36/ 37/ 20, arrow, page 57 and fasten in the cable holder.
Slide WLAN cover for protecting the WLAN module (3), Fig. 37, arrow.
The cable harness (5) is not required for this TV set.
Finally, carry out a function and safety check.
