INSTALLING THE BATTERIES & CAMERA ON/OFF
1. The Battery Door 1 is located at the back of the camera. Open by sliding it to
the right.
2. Install two CR2 batteries (2 × 3 V) into the battery chamber and close the
Battery Door 1.
3. Turn the camera on by turning the Focusing Ring 12 to any focusing distance
besides “Off”. You will see the Shooting Mode Indication Light 18 and Flash
Indication Light 10 light up.
4. To turn the camera off, press the Lens Closure Lock 23, turn the Focusing
Ring 12 all the way to the “Off” position.
BATTERY INDICATION
Camera battery condition is indicated by the Shooting Mode Indication Light 18:
e Solid indication light on: The battery condition is normal and the camera is
ready to shoot.
e Indication light blinking: The batteries are low and need to be changed.
LOADING THE FILM
Open the Camera Back Door 4 by pressing down the on Back Door Lock 5. Install
a fresh pack of Fujifilm Instax Mini film into the film chamber. Make sure that the
Yellow Mark 6 inside the film chamber matches the yellow mark on the film pack.
Close the Camera Back Door 4.
