Key Switch. Contro1s
starter
and
thermoinjector
switch,
lights, fuel gauge,
alternator
indicator
li
ght
, oil pressure
indicator
light
and
water
temperature
gauge
.
10. Engine Speed Control Lever. Provides a means
for
changing
speed of
engine. Moving
lever
downward
increases speed.

. Clutch Pedal. Is used
to
control
operation
of
two
clutches.
Depress pedal
to mid-travel
position
to
disengage
engine from
transmission
to
permit
shifting
of transmission gears. Depress pedal to end of
stroke
to
disengage
PTO.
12. Gear Shift Lever. Is used to
shift
transmission
gears
into
various
travel
speeds and neutral
position.
13. Brake Pedals. Are used
to
actuate
tractor
brakes
. Brakes may be used
individually
to
aid in
turning
at
slow
speeds,
or
pedal lo
ck
plate
may be
engaged
so
that
both
pedals
wi ll be depressed when
traveling
at
high
speeds.
14. PTO Lever.
Is
used to
shift
PTO
into
one
of
three
positions
; 540 RPM
operat
ion,
ground
speed
operation
and neutral.
15. Hydraulic Control Lever.
Is
used to raise
or
l
ower
three-point
hitch
im-
plements
attached
to the
upper
and
lower
links.
To
raise
implement,
move con-
trol lever to rear
of
its quadrant. To
lower
implement,
slowly
move lever
forward
until
desired
operating
depth
has been
obtained
.
STARTING AND STOPPING THE TRACTOR
Starting
the
engine
Before starting, the
following
operations
should
be
carried
out:
1.
Check
oil level in oil sump.
2.
Check
coolant
level in the
radiator
.
3.
Check
fuel level in the tank.
