To suit the lifting stroke to implement
height adjust the length of left link 4,
i.e. : for imp lements with high hitch shorten C
the link inserting moveable pivot 3 below
stationary pivot 2; for implements with low
hitch lengthen the link by inserting move-
able
pivot 3 above stationary pivot 2.
To correct implement side tilt adjust the
length of right link 8 by its crank : except
l eft link can be shortened or lengthe 'ned,
according to requirements.

When using
implements needing some freedom of side movement (harrows ,
cultivators, seed
drills , etc .) remove moveable pivot 3 to render "floating" l eft
link 4.
Select the top link-to-support anchor holes following the table " Guide to Lifter
Use" and remembering that when the lifter works on draft control its response
increases from the
lower to the higher hole . As a rule a high response should
be reserved for light works requiring moderate pull efforts . Chain 5 limits the .
side sway of
implements .
