7. CHECKING OIL LEVEL IN AIR CLEANING OIL SUMP. Fifteen minutes
after the engine h as stopped, check oil level in oil su mp A. Oil level
must reach the
marking notch B. Renew oil in the oil sump if s edime nt
on sump bottom h as grown to a thi ck ness of about .39 in. (1 en.) When
oil sump is
detached from the filter , clean also central tube .
