20. CLUTCH PEDAL FREE TRAVEL ADJUSTMENT. Free travel, which pedal
must pe rfo rm before main clutch disengagement is of .98 to 1.38 in.
(25-
35 mm.). When this travel is below .98 in. (25 mm.) it has to be
adjusted in
order to avoid clutch slipping :

- deta ch fork B from lever C by taking off pin D.
- loosen
fork counternut B and unscrew the rod one complete rod
turn; peda l travel in creases by .39 in. (1 cm.).

Fi x for k B to lever C and tighten counternut.
- c heck up, if pedal travel is of 1.38 in. (35 mm.).
If pedal free travel must also be
adjusted before p.t.o. clutch disengage-
ment , pro ceed as follows :

dismo unt the cover fixed to transmission housing right side;

adjust play F between clutch release levers G and screws E to .57
in . (1.5 mm). To bring levers and screws just in front of the port , rotate
the clutch by means of a lever.
