BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL
ADJUSTMENT.
Free travel must be same
for
both brakes
being
1.97
in
. (50 mm.). When the travel of one pedal
differs
from that of the
other
one,
adjust
as
follow
s:
- apply the han
dbrake.
·

tighten

ully
screw
A,
then
slacken
them by a turn and a
half
and
fasten th em in
this
position
with
couf)ternuts.
-
slacken
counternuts
B,
then uns
crew
rods C until the
peda
l travel is
negligib
le.
Screw
the rods by
two
turns so
that
pedal travel be of
about
1.97 in . (50 mm.).
Secure
the
cou
nternut

Every 500 Hours'

CHECKING
THE
INJECTORS.
Injection
pressure must be
of
3200 to
3342 PSI
(230±
5 kp / sq. c
m.
) Th is
check
should be
done
by
your
Long
dealer.
23.
REMOVING
FOREIGN
MATERIAL
FROM
FUEL TANK. When fuel tank is
almost
empty take
off
the plug indicated on the
figure
in
order
to
remove
foreign
matter.
