What to do if my Longtime Inverter displays 'OVERLOAD' and won't turn on?
    • T
      Theresa ParkJul 27, 2025
The 'FAULT' LED lights up, the buzzer sounds, or the LCD displays 'OVERLOAD, can’t turn on' and the Longtime Inverter won't power on because there's a continuous overload beyond its power rating. To fix this: 1. Reduce the load or use an inverter with a higher power rating, as the current load requires more power than the inverter can handle. 2. If the problem persists after resetting and removing the load, contact Technical Support.

Why is my Longtime LIV-10 Inverter beeping and displaying a temperature too high error?
    • M
      Michael RussellAug 6, 2025
The Longtime Inverter buzzer alarm sounds, the LCD displays 'Temp. too high, can’t turn on' and there is no AC output because of over temperature due to fan failure, high ambient temperature, or insufficient air exchange. Here's how to address it: 1. Check if the fan is working. If not, the fan or its control circuit may be defective; contact Technical Support. 2. Ensure that the ventilation slots and openings are not obstructed. 3. Verify that enough cool replacement air is available and that the ambient air temperature is below 40?. If it isn't, reduce the load to lower the heating effect. After addressing the cause of overheating and the unit cools down, it will reset automatically.

What to do if my Longtime Inverter says 'DC Volt too low'?
    • E
      Erika GilmoreAug 16, 2025
The Longtime Inverter LCD displays 'DC Volt too low, can’t turn on' and it cannot power on because the DC input voltage is less than the lowest working voltage. To resolve this: 1. Use a true RMS reading meter to check if the DC Voltage reaches the lowest working voltage (48VDC System: 42Vdc, 125VDC System: 105Vdc). 2. Check if the DC cable is loose. 3. Verify if the DC Voltage (48V / 125V DC) complies with the POWER INVERTER specifications.
