Usage Features

The mower is designed for ease of use and adjustment:

  • Compatibility: It is designed to be combined with 2HP~40HP tractors equipped with a category-1 3-point link system and a 540-rpm clockwise PTO.
  • Cutting Height Adjustment: The cutting height can be adjusted by changing the position of the wheels. Raising the wheels increases the cutting height, and lowering them decreases it. The manual advises making sure all wheels are at the same height or both sides.
  • Belt Tension Adjustment: The tension of the belts can be adjusted to ensure the machine works correctly and to reduce wear of rotating parts. This involves loosening bolts, unscrewing nuts, and turning screws in specific directions to achieve the correct tension.
  • Safety Features: The manual highlights numerous safety precautions, including:
    • Always disengage the PTO for transport.
    • Avoid touching the tractor wheel and lower arms.
    • Check that the PTO does not touch the front of the mower deck.
    • Travel at a safe speed.
    • Wear suitable clothing and personal protective equipment.
    • Ensure all guards are in place.
    • Maintain a safe distance from rotating parts.
    • Shut off the engine and engage the parking brake before performing maintenance or adjustments.
  • Start-Up and Shut-Down:
    • Start-Up: After carrying out mower setup, the equipment is ready for use. Start the engine, engage the PTO, and ensure correct operation of the mower before continuing.
    • Shut-Down: Recommended activities for long periods of time include cleaning and drying the equipment, inspecting and replacing damaged or worn parts, and tightening all hardware according to the torque tightening chart. The machine should be lubricated and covered, then stored in a dry place.

Information required for ordering includes equipment type and width, part number, description, and quantity.
