NOTE – To comply with regulations, installation must be carried out
by qualified electrician and in accordance with the current IEE Wiring
Regulations (BS7671) and Building Regulations. A copy of the instructions
must be left for the user/maintenance engineer for future reference.
ENSURE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY IS DISCONNECTED/
ISOLATED BEFORE COMMENCING INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS FOR NEW INSTALLATIONS
1. This luminaire requires a cut-out of 63 - 70mm, it is
recommended that the luminaire is installed in a 67mm cut-out.
The cut-outs need to be spaced to provide adequate clearance
from beams, pipes and electrical cables.
2. Twist bezel anti-clockwise to remove the bezel and LED module
for installation.
3. Insert ceiling bracket by lifting the springs to vertical and insert
into ceiling cut-out. Ensure the bracket assembly is positioned
centrally in the ceiling cut-out.
4. Pull electrical cables through the bracket. Recommended 20mm
of insulation and 5mm conductor length.
5. Wire mains and lamp to terminal block, ensuring correct polarity
of live/neutral. Downlight = Blue - Neutral, Brown - Live.
6. Align points on the bezel to ceiling bracket springs, insert and
rotate clockwise until tight.
7. Re-instate power and test.
