Install EAF1 Drop Test Card on ASJ2 Channel Unit
At Distant Terminal
1. Turn DT power switch OFF.
2. On the right side of the
ASJ2
channel unit, remove the cover plate by taking
off the nut. Save the nut and discard the cover plate.
3. On the side of the
ASJ2
channel unit (Figure 1), insert the
EAF1
drop test
module in the jack by sliding the flaps under the retaining slots, aligning the 20
pin connector, and pressing the
EAF1
on to the
ASJ2
. Use the nut to secure
the
EAF1
.
4. Turn DT power switch ON only if the battery pack is connected.
STOP. YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
