Power Up 900A1, 900A2, or 900A3 DT
1. While observing indicators on
ASJ1 or ASJ2 CU
, turn DT power switch to
ON
position.
Comment: This assumes power to the DT has been established.
Response: All indicators light momentarily and extinguish.
OOF
stays
lighted.
2. Did all indicators light momentarily and the
OOF
indicator remain lighted?
Comment: The 900A2 or 900A3 DT power LED will light.
The OOF light will go off if the fiber facility and RT is already
established.
If
YES,
then proceed to Step
5
.
If
NO INDICATORS LIGHTED,
then continue with Step
3.
If
ALL INDICATORS REMAIN LIGHTED,
then proceed to Step
4.
3. Turn DT power off. Then replace the items below in the order listed until all
indicators are off except
OOF
:
•
ASH1 PCU
(power converter unit)
•
ASJ1 or ASJ2 CU
•
AYB1B OU
(optical unit)
• 900A1, 900A2, or 900A3 DT closure.
After proper power indication is achieved, proceed to Step
5
.
4. Turn DT power off and replace
ASJ1
or
ASJ2 CU
and repeat this procedure
from Step
1
. (Perform Step 3 the second time through if all indicators remain
lighted after the
ASJ1/ASJ2
has been replaced).
5. Connect battery pack
J104
to
P104
.
6. Turn off DT power and observe the
ON BAT
indicator.
