LS30 Setup for the PS4

1. Remove the protective caps from the optical cable:

2. Connect the square end of the optical cable to the "Digital Out (optical)" port on the rear of

the PS4. Please note that the PS4 "slim" does not have an optical out port

LucidSound LS30 Specifications

General

Remove protective caps from the optical cable before connecting.

Connect the square end of the optical cable to the PS4's Digital Out (optical) port.

Connect the other end of the optical cable to the 3.5mm port on the side of the base station.

Connect the base station to a USB port on the PS4 (rear ports recommended for PS4 Pro).

Connect the boom microphone to the oval-shaped port in the left earcup correctly.

Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the power LED turns on.

Set PS4 Input and Output Devices to 'USB headset (LucidSound)' under Settings > Devices > Audio Devices.

Set 'Output to Headphones' to 'Chat Audio' and 'Volume Control (Headphones)' to 100%.

Navigate to Settings > Sound and Screen > Audio Output Settings and select 'Digital Out (Optical)'.

In Audio Output Settings, choose 'Linear PCM' for the Audio Format (Priority).
