Why is my Luma Comfort IMPC-2800S starting but not making ice?
    • T
      Todd RiveraJul 29, 2025
If the Luma Ice Maker is starting its ice-making cycle but not producing ice, the ambient or water temperature might be too high. Try moving the ice maker to a cooler area (below 90°F) and using cooler water in the tank. If the issue persists, it could be due to a refrigerant leak or a blocked pipe in the cooling system, in which case you should consult a technician.

What to do if the 'ADD WATER' light is on even though my Luma Comfort IMPC-2800S is full?
    • J
      Jason EnglishAug 3, 2025
If the "ADD WATER" light remains on even when the large reservoir of your Luma Ice Maker is full, it could be due to the type of water you're using. Try using tap or mineral water instead of distilled water. Alternatively, the water filter at the bottom of the reservoir might be blocked. Clean the water filter to allow water to flow into the lower tank.

    • E
      ewilliamsAug 11, 2025
If your Luma Ice Maker displays the “ADD WATER” indicator, it means the water reservoir doesn't have enough water. To fix this, turn off the ice maker, fill the reservoir with water, and then press the “ON/OFF” button to restart it.

Why are the ice cubes from my Luma Comfort IMPC-2800S thin and break easily?
    • M
      markhernandezAug 15, 2025
If the ice cubes from your Luma Ice Maker are thin and break easily, the ambient temperature might be too high. Turn off the unit, then press and hold the “ON/OFF” button for more than 5 seconds to restart it. This will lengthen the ice-making cycle and produce thicker ice cubes.

How to unclog the water separator pipes on my Luma Comfort IMPC-2800S Ice Maker?
    • C
      Carla WilliamsAug 20, 2025
If water isn't flowing from the water separator pipes in your Luma Ice Maker, the openings might be blocked. Use a pin to carefully prick each pipe opening to clear any blockages and allow water to flow freely.

      Andrew GuzmanAug 25, 2025
If the “ADD WATER” indicator light is off even though your Luma Ice Maker is empty, the water in the tank might contain impurities. Try using normal drinking or tap water. Also, the wall of the lower tank located underneath the ice basket might be dirty. Clean this water tank.
