Why won't my Lumag MD300 engine start?

  There are several reasons why your Lumag Farm Equipment engine might fail to start: * The spark plug wire may be disconnected. Ensure it's securely attached to the spark plug. * You might be out of fuel or using stale fuel. Refill with clean, fresh gasoline. * The choke might not be in the open position. For a cold start, the throttle must be positioned at the choke. * The fuel line could be blocked. Try cleaning the fuel line. * The spark plug might be fouled. Clean, adjust the gap, or replace it. * The engine could be flooded. Wait a few minutes to restart, and do not prime it.

  If your Lumag Farm Equipment engine is running erratically, consider the following: * Check the spark plug wire. If it's loose, connect and tighten it. * Ensure the unit isn't running on CHOKE. Move the choke lever to OFF. * The fuel line might be blocked, or the fuel could be stale. Clean the fuel line and fill the tank with clean, fresh gasoline. * The vent could be plugged. Clear the vent. * There might be water or dirt in the fuel system. Drain the fuel tank and refill with fresh fuel. * The air cleaner could be dirty. Clean or replace the air cleaner.
