CAUTION
The lighting fixture may be damaged if subjected to freezing weather.
Remove the entire step assembly from the pool and allow all water to
drain from the step and dry before storing.
Store in a dry location unexposed to winter conditions.
Do not submerge the solar panel the product could be damaged.

2) Insert the lighting fixture from the outside of the step.
3) Fasten the treaded ring and align the fixture properly in the step before tightening.
Tighten the ring moderately.
IMPORTANT: Use supplied tie wraps to attach electric cord to a post as
shown. Do not submerge the connector the product could
be damaged.
LIGHT INSTALLATION ON THE STEP
1) Remove the Innovaplas round cap from the step by compressing 2 tabs at the back.
For the Biltmor or Aquarius step cut the 4 tabs with a utility knife to remove the blank
cap.

Summary

Light Installation on the Step

Remove Step Cap

Remove the Innovaplas round cap from the step by compressing 2 tabs or cutting tabs with a utility knife.

Insert Lighting Fixture

Insert the lighting fixture from the outside of the step into the prepared opening.

Fasten and Align Fixture

Fasten the treaded ring and align the fixture properly in the step before tightening moderately.

Secure Power Cord

Use supplied tie wraps to attach the electric cord to a post, ensuring the connector is not submerged.

Deck Installation

Identify Installation Location

Identify the best location for the solar panel, pointing towards the sun at noon, avoiding obstacles.

Install Mounting Plate

Install the mounting plate with screws and washers, using the engraved pictogram for correct orientation.

Secure Panel Housing

Slide the panel housing into the mounting plate, ensuring it is secured by the locking tab.

Step Combo Installation

Install Battery and Panel

Install the battery and orient the solar panel towards the sun at noon for optimal results.

Connect Panel to Fixture

Connect the panel to the light fixture, screwing the connector sleeve completely to seal it.

Route and Secure Cord

Secure the electrical cord to the tubular post with tie wraps, keeping connectors out of water.

Operation and Timing

Turn fixture on/off via switch. Features a 2-hour countdown timer and 3-hour battery life.

Winterizing Instructions

Disconnect and Store

Disconnect the solar panel, unlock it from the mounting plate, and pull the step and light out for storage.
