Function Description:

The Luxor LX9412662M is an LED TV with a fully integrated terrestrial digital-cable TV tuner (DVB-T-C - MPEG2/MPEG4 compatible). It supports programme recording and timeshifting, offering a total of 1000 preset channels (analogue + digital). The TV features an OSD (On-Screen Display) menu system for easy navigation and configuration. It includes a Scart socket for external devices like video players, video games, and audio sets. The TV also supports stereo sound (German+Nicam), Teletext (fastext, TOP text), and NTSC playback.

Usage Features:

• Connectivity: Features HDMI connectors for digital video and audio (supporting high-definition signals), USB input, Scart socket, headphone connection, and PC input (VGA/DSUB-15).
• USB Media Playback: Allows playing video, photo, and music files from connected USB hard drives or memory sticks. Supports FAT32 and NTFS disk formatting (NTFS not supported for recording).
• Programme Recording & Timeshifting: Requires a USB disk (at least 1 GB capacity, USB 2.0 speed compatibility) connected to the TV while it's switched off, then powered on to enable the feature. Recorded programmes are saved in 4GB partitions in the \DVR\RECS directory.
• EPG (Electronic Programme Guide): Provides information about available programmes, allowing users to view, record, or set timers for future programmes.
• Image Size Adjustment: Users can change the aspect ratio (image size) to various zoom modes (Auto, 16:9, Subtitle, 14:9, 14:9 Zoom, 4:3, Cinema).
• Picture Settings: Detailed settings for contrast, brightness, sharpness, color, power save mode, backlight, noise reduction, and color temperature. Specific PC picture settings are available when connected to a computer.
• Sound Settings: Configurable sound settings including volume, equalizer (with presets like Music, Movie, Speech, Flat, Classic, and User), balance, headphone volume, sound mode (Mono, Stereo, Dual I/II), AVL (Automatic Volume Limiting), dynamic bass, and digital out audio type.
• Language Preferences: Allows setting system language, preferred audio language, subtitle language, Teletext language, and EPG guide language.
• Parental Control: Enables locking certain programmes, channels, and menus using a PIN code (default 0000) to restrict viewing. Maturity lock and child lock features are available.
• Timers: Includes a sleep timer (up to 2 hours in 30-minute steps) and programme timers for recording or reminders.
• Software Upgrade: Supports finding and updating new software via broadcast channels, either manually through the user interface or automatically at 03:00 AM.
• Input Selection: Users can switch between different input sources (TV, SCART, Side AV, HDMI1, HDMI2, YPbPr, VGA/PC).
• Control: Can be operated using both the remote control and physical buttons on the TV (Up, Down, Programme/Volume/AV/Standby-On selection switch).

Maintenance Features:

• Screen Care: Clean the screen with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive solvents. Unplug the TV from the mains when cleaning.
• Ventilation: Ensure at least 10 cm free space around the TV for good ventilation to prevent overheating.
• Power Management: To reduce energy consumption, use the Power Save Mode, switch off or disconnect the TV from the mains plug when not in use, and unplug the power cord for longer periods of non-usage.
• Repair Information: All servicing should be referred to qualified personnel. Do not attempt to remove the cover yourself.
