dryer in a cleancondition could leadto deterioration of the surfacewhich could adverselyaffect the life of the
applianceandpossiblyresultin a hazardoussituation.

LINT FILTER ASSEMBLY
Thedryershouldbecleanedregularly,includingthelint filter assembly.Referto theLintFilterAssemblychart
whencleaningthefilter assembly.
A NOTE:Unplugthe power cord before cleaninganypart of the dryer.
LintFilter Assembly
Removethe lint filter by pullingoutward usingthe four (4) grip holesinthe filter assembly.
A NOTE:Thelint filter assemblymustbeinstalledwhenoperatingthedryer.Thelint filter assemblymustbecleaned

before and after each use.
Thelint filter assemblyconsistsof three(3)
parts:exhaustventshroud,lint filter, and
exhaust filter.
Disassemblethe lint filter in the following
order: exhaust vent shroud lint filter -
exhaust filter.
Separatethe three (3)partsof the
assemblyandcleanthe individualpieces
usingasoft brushor avacuumcleaner.
DONOTdamagethefilter assembly.
Reassemblethe filter assemblyin the
following order:exhaustfilter - lint filter
-exhaustventshroud.Alignthe entire
assemblywith the recessedposition inthe
backof thedrumandpressfirmly untilthe
entirefilter assemblyis secured.
