Why is my Magnavox P-12PE not cool enough?

There are several reasons why your Magnavox Portable air conditioner might not be cooling effectively: * Ensure all windows and doors in the room are closed. * Remove any heat sources from the room if possible. * Check that the exhaust air duct is properly connected and not blocked. * Lower the set temperature. * Clean the air filter. * Place the unit on a flat, level surface. * If the temperature at the air outlet exceeds 70°C/158°F, the unit's overheat protection may be activated; allow the unit to cool down before switching it on again. Note that the sound of refrigerant flowing inside the air conditioner is normal.
