Extend tripod legs from top flip-locks first, adjusting to desired height and relocking.
Unlock the mid-level spreader by rotating the locking knob counterclockwise.
Plant front leg, spread back two legs to desired working spread, check level, and readjust.
Lock the mid-level spreader by rotating the locking knob clockwise.
Unlock center column knob to raise or lower head platform using the hand crank.
Adjust tilt by rotating tilt lock knob and using tilt/pan bar to level head for camera mounting.
Rotate head to set pan angle using tilt/pan bar after releasing pan lock knob.
Rotate mounting plate lock to release the plate from the tripod head.
Attach mounting plate to camera, ensuring alignment pin sets and screwing stud into camera base.
Slide camera's mounting plate onto tripod head until it locks into place.
Keep pan and tilt knobs locked if no panning or tilting is required during the shot.
Rotate mounting plate lock forward to release the camera from the tripod.
Lower center column fully using hand crank after releasing locking knob.
Unlock mid-level spreader and push legs together to collapse the tripod.
