TPMS Alerts
Tyre pressure & temperature information is processed in the MBFM and alerts are
transmitted to the TPMS display in the instrument cluster through LIN.
Low Pressure alert is issued when the pressure drops below 24 PSI in any moving tyre or
19 PSI in a stationary tyre. The LED of the affected tyre will blink and the buzzer will beep
in a SLOW frequency along with the display of “Pressure” in the alert segment, “PSI” in the
unit segment and the tyre pressure in the value section of the display. Buzzer can be
deactivated by pressing the MODE button, however the buzzer will again come in the next
ignition cycle, if the tyre pressure is not corrected.
The TPMS warning lamp also will be ON
Very Low Pressure alert is issued when the pressure drops below 19 PSI in any moving
tyre or 11 PSI in a stationary tyre. The LED of the affected tyre will blink and the buzzer will
beep in a FAST frequency along with the display of “Pressure” in the alert segment, “PSI”
in the unit segment and the tyre pressure in the value section of the display. Buzzer can
be deactivated by pressing the MODE button, however the buzzer will again come in the
next ignition cycle, if the tyre pressure is not corrected.
The TPMS warning lamp also will be ON
High Pressure alert is issued when the pressure goes above 48 PSI in any moving tyre or
53 PSI in a stationary tyre. The LED of the affected tyre will blink and the buzzer will beep
in a FAST frequency along with the display of “Pressure” in the alert segment, “PSI” in the
unit segment and the tyre pressure in the value section of the display. Buzzer can be
deactivated by pressing the MODE button, however the buzzer will again come in the next
ignition cycle, if the problem is not corrected.
The TPMS warning lamp also will be ON
Fast Leakage alert is issued when the pressure reduces at a rate faster than 3 PSI/minute
in any tyre. The LED of the affected tyre will blink and the buzzer will beep in a FAST
frequency along with the display of “Leakage” in the alert segment, “PSI” in the unit
segment of the display. Buzzer can be deactivated by pressing the MODE button. The
