The wheel sensors communicate with the controller (which is in the MBFM) using Radio

This error is registered when
− when pressure in any of the tyre (including Spare Wheel) is 48 PSI.
− when vehicle is stationery and pressure in any of the tyres (including spare wheel) is 53
PSI.
The high temperature is registered when the temperature of the particular wheel exceeds
100 degree C.
Normally the high temperature alert cannot come without the high pressure alert.
Note: the indication of the complaint is also reported in the instrument cluster. In the
cluster it will be indicated by-
Tyre pressure telltale alert & corresponding tyre location indicator will blink.
LCD Display for ‘Pressure’ in Alert Section and ‘PSI’ in Unit section will be ON (refer
sketch).
Buzzer will also beep with the same frequency (Fast Blink and Beep). Buzzer can be
disabled by pressing the MODE button for the Current Ignition Cycle.
Note: Even if the complaint is rectified by the customer, the error will be stored in the
MBFM for a defined no of cycles. Hence from the MBFM if the complaint has been
rectified by customer, delete.
Rectification:
Fill the tyres to the correct pressure.
If the complaint is repeating after certain no of days, then check the wheel rim for damage
and also the tyre bead for damages ( while doing the R&R)
