Code Label

U 1114 Negative response received from ABS (K-line)
Description
The MBFM communicates with the ABS over the K Line and also gets the PWM input
(about the ABS and park lamp status)
The communication happens when:
1. Ignition state changes from CRANK/OFF to RUN
or,
2. Detection of change in state of DMD input while Ignition state is RUN/CRANK.
Functional block diagram
It will attempt to communicate for a defined no of cycles. After that it will again attempt
when the next time the communication conditions are met.
Since the K line is also used for Diagnostic communication for ECU, ABS, and MBFM. Hence
if the K line is being used to for diagnostic communication, that time it will not
communicate with the ABS unit.
