CHECK THE DAB LINES FOR SHORT
CIRCUIT WITHIN HARNESS
SRSI5
Turn the ignition key to OFF position.
Remove the Airbag simulator from DAB harness connector.
Measure the resistance between:
(+) Red Probe of Multimeter
DAB connector, harness side
(-) Black Probe of Multimeter
DAB connector, harness side
Is the resistance more than 10 Kohms?
An intermittent fault may be present in the wiring
harness. Visually check for chaffed wires or other
physical damage to the harness. If no fault is found
in the circuit, suspect the following component(s):
a) Clockspring connector
b) DAB connector
c) Airbag module connector
d) Clockspring assembly
e) DAB assembly
f) Airbag module.
