Why won't the pilot light stay lit on my Majestic Indoor Fireplace?
    • J
      Jamie PhelpsAug 1, 2025
If the pilot light on your Majestic Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit after following the lighting instructions, there could be a few reasons. First, the pilot generator (thermocouple) or remote wall switch might be defective. Ensure the pilot flame is properly hitting the thermocouple/thermopile. Clean and adjust the pilot for maximum flame impingement on the thermopile and thermocouple. Also, the automatic valve could be defective. To check this, turn the valve knob to “Pilot” and maintain flow to pilot; a millivolt meter should read greater than 10mV. If the reading is okay but the pilot still doesn’t stay on, the gas valve should be replaced. Note that an interrupter block (not supplied) must be used to conduct this test.

How to fix a Majestic Indoor Fireplace spark ignitor that won't light?
    • J
      jacquelinebryantAug 8, 2025
If your Majestic Indoor Fireplace spark ignitor won't light, it could be due to a defective or misaligned electrode at the pilot. Try lighting the pilot with a match. If it lights, turn off the pilot and push the red button again. If it still doesn't light, check the gap at the electrode and pilot; it should be 1/8” for a strong spark. Another possibility is a defective ignitor (push button). With the control knob in the pilot position, push the control knob all the way and hold. Check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, replace the battery in the ignitor module and try again. If the problem persists, replace the ignitor module box.

Why does my Majestic Indoor Fireplace have frequent pilot outage problems?
    • D
      Daisy RogersAug 25, 2025
Frequent pilot outages in your Majestic Indoor Fireplace can be caused by a pilot flame that is too low or blowing too high, causing the pilot safety to drop out. Clean and/or adjust the pilot flame to ensure maximum flame impingement on the thermopile and thermocouple. Also, check the vent terminal for any blockage that might be recycling the flue gases.

What to do if my Majestic Indoor Fireplace pilot is burning but there's no gas to the main burner?
    • U
      ubrownNov 15, 2025
If the pilot light is burning on your Majestic Indoor Fireplace, but no gas is reaching the main burner, several issues could be the cause. The wall switch or its wires might be defective; check them for proper connections. You can use a jumper wire across the terminals at the wall switch. If the burner comes on, replace the defective wall switch. If it's still not working, jumper the wires across the wall switch wires at the valve. If the burner then comes on, the wires are faulty or the connections are bad. Another potential issue is that the thermopile may not be generating enough millivoltage. Ensure the wire connections from the thermopile at the gas valve terminals are tight and that the thermopile is fully inserted into the pilot bracket. Also, check if one of the wall switch wires ...
