Why does my Majestic RHEDV25 pilot keep going out?
    • X
      xjonesAug 19, 2025
If you're experiencing frequent pilot outages with your Majestic Indoor Fireplace, consider these potential causes: * The pilot flame might be too low or too high, causing the pilot safety to drop out. Clean and/or adjust the pilot flame to ensure maximum flame impingement on the thermopile and thermocouple. * There might be a blockage in the vent terminal, causing the flue gases to recycle. Check the vent terminal for any obstructions.

What to do if Majestic RHEDV25 pilot will not stay lit?
    • P
      Pamela LeeAug 27, 2025
If the pilot light on your Majestic Indoor Fireplace won't stay lit even after following the lighting instructions, consider these possibilities: * The pilot generator (thermocouple) or remote wall switch may be defective. Ensure the pilot flame properly impinges on the thermocouple. Clean or adjust the pilot for optimal flame impingement on the thermopile and thermocouple. * The automatic valve might be defective. Turn the valve knob to 'Pilot' and maintain flow to the pilot. A milivolt meter should show a reading greater than 10 mV. If the reading is okay but the pilot still won't stay on, replace the gas valve. Note: An interrupter block (not supplied) must be used to conduct this test.

How to fix a Majestic Indoor Fireplace spark ignitor that will not light?
    • B
      Brandon BrownSep 3, 2025
If the spark ignitor on your Majestic Indoor Fireplace isn't lighting, try these steps: * Light the pilot manually using a match. If the pilot lights, turn it off and try pushing the red button again. If the pilot still doesn't light, check the gap at the electrode and pilot; it should be 1/8" to ensure a strong spark. * Test the ignitor button. Push the piezo ignitor button and check for a spark at the electrode and pilot. If there's no spark and the electrode wire is properly connected, the ignitor may be defective and needs replacement.

What to do if my Majestic Indoor Fireplace pilot is burning, but no gas goes to the main burner?
    • W
      William GoodNov 11, 2025
If the pilot light is on but the main burner isn't getting gas, here's what to check: 1. Inspect the wall switch and wiring for solid connections. Try bypassing the wall switch by using a jumper wire across the terminals. If the burner ignites, the wall switch is likely faulty and needs replacement. If it doesn't help, try to jumper the wires across wall switch wires at the valve, and if the burner comes on, the wires are faulty or connections are bad. 2. Ensure the thermopile wire connections at the gas valve terminals are secure, and the thermopile is fully inserted into the pilot bracket. One of the wall switch wires may be grounded. Remove wall switch wires from valve terminals; if the pilot now stays lit, trace the wall switch wiring for a ground. Check the thermopile output with a...
