The cutter rod or bar holder O-ring could be damaged, or the rod/bar holder surface might be scratched or grooved, necessitating replacement of the back-up ring and O-ring, or the cutter rod/bar holder itself. A damaged O-ring on the cylinder/bar holder also calls for O-ring replacement. If the cylinder/pump case gasket is damaged, replace liner B. Lastly, check if the flange bolts on the bar cutter/cylinder/pump case are loose and tighten them if necessary.
