Connect a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel pressure port.
Release the jam nut on the adjustment screw.
Start the engine, check for fuel leaks, and correct before proceeding.
Turn adjustment screw clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease pressure.
Tighten the jam nut and shut off the engine.
Release jam nut, remove adjustment screw, set aside diaphragm spring.
Remove regulator base and bracket screws, then the base and gasket.
Set aside plunger spring, unscrew plunger. O-ring remains on plunger.
Remove four cap screws, then the regulator cap and diaphragm.
Clean all surfaces thoroughly. Assemble in reverse order and tighten screws.
Adjust fuel pressure as stated in the Fuel Pressure Adjustment section.
