MALTEC WT-3000KW - Before First Use

Recommendation:
 Please firstly inspect for any damage and immediately report to the seller.
 Make sure that the voltage is same as the appliance rating label marked.
 The appliance should be placed on a flat, hard surface with no obstruction
underneath such as carpet or towels. Also, make sure that there is at least two feet
of clearance above the unit for mist discharge.
 Do not use the appliance if it is not fully assembled or parts of the appliance are
missing.
 Use only clean water to operate the humidifier. A vinegar and water combination
can be used for cleaning only.
 The water temperature should be not exceed 100 F.
 The best operating environment is temperature from 60 to 100 F and humidity less
than (80%) RH.
 Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight.
 Do not place the appliance in areas near computers and sensitive electronic
equipment.
 Do not use the appliance in the rooms with explosive gas or while using
inflammable solvents, varnish or glue.
 It is not recommended to place the appliance under air conditioners, as it may affect
the level of humidity.
 Do not pull the cord to unplug the appliance.
 Do not use the damaged appliance or appliance with damaged cord/plug.
 Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
 Do not add hot water into the water tank. Only fill water through the bottom of the
tank, not through the mist nozzle.
 Do not add any aromatic substance into the water (powder, liquids, oil, etc.). Only
add aromatic oil to the aroma box sponge on the bottom of the unit.
 Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
 Do not immerse the appliance in water or wash under running water, you can
damage the electronic components of the appliance.
 Keep babies and children away from the appliance.
 If you are not going to use the appliance for long time, clean and dry it well with soft
fabric, pack it well.
Before first use
 Remove the appliance from the package.
 Do not leave the packing (plastic bags, polystyrene, etc.) within reach of babies and
children.
 After transportation in low temperatures, leave the appliance in the room for 2 hours
to acclimate before using.
 Don’t add anything into the water tank except clean water.
 If digital style, remove plastic insert from the remote to activate the battery.
