You Need
• A TV with an HDMI input.
• A TV aerial and cable. While indoor (potable) aerials may pick up some Freeview
channels, for best results and full coverage, use a rootop aerial.
Required Connections
. Connect a TV aerial cable (not included) from your aerial wall socket to the
T•R's AERIAL IN socket.
. Connect the included HDMI cable from an HDMI socket on your TV to the T•R's
HDMI socket.
. Connect the included power adapter to the T•R's POWER socket, then plug the
other end into a wall socket that is turned o.
Optional Connections
• If you'd rather use a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi, connect an Ethernet cable
(not included) from the T•R's ETHERNET socket to your broadband router.
• To use your TV’s tuner, connect an aerial cable (not included) from your T•R's
LOOP OUT socket to your TV's aerial socket. Please note that to conseve energy,
the LOOP OUT socket is disabled in standby. However, ater set-up you can change
this by pressing HOME and going to: Setings > System > Standby Options.
• If you have an AV receiver that doesn't suppot HDMI, you can connect an optical
audio cable (not included) from your T•R's OPTICAL socket to your AV receiver.
