32 - TOWING PIN
Located at the back of the lift truck, this pin makes it possible to couple a trailer. The capacity is limited for each lift truck
by the authorized total towed weight (ATTW), the drawbar pull and the maximum vertical drawbar pull on the towing pin.
This information is indicated on the manufacturer's plate on each lift truck (See IDENTIFICATION OF THE LIFT TRUCK
in SECTION 2 - DESCRIPTION).
NOTE : For towing, optional solutions exist, consult your dealer.
- Check the braking and lighting devices of the trailer and connect them on the lift truck.
- Reduce the speed of the lift truck.
- Consult the Highway Code currently in force in your country.
