more information, please see the Manitou Pontoon
HV480 Display manual provided in the owner’s
packet.
The fuel gauge displays the amount of fuel left in the fuel tank. It
provides the most accurate reading when the boat is level and at idle
speed. All Manitou models have a factory-installed fuel tank and come
standard with a fuel gauge, accurate within one-quarter of tank capacity.
Because the reading is approximate, compare the display to known fuel
consumption and hours of use. Your engine owner’s manual should also
aid you in determining your boat’s fuel consumption rate.
The speedometer shows miles per hour, as measured by GPS.
The trim gauge displays the angle of the propeller relative to the hull.
The engine can be trimmed to adjust to an ideal boat angle, which
increases efficiency. Experience on the water will help you understand
the proper trim for your boat.
