B3 - TENSION AND ALIGNMENT OF THE MAST LIFTING CHAINS
(MAST WITH SLIDES)
CHECK - ADJUST
MC 30 Série 3-E2 M26-2 Série 3-E2 M26-4 Série 3-E2
M30-2 Série 3-E2 M30-4 Série 3-E2
Place the lift truck on level ground with the mast in a vertical position and the forks lifted
at approximately 200 mm.
- Check the alignment of the mast lifting chains between the carriage’s chain fasteners
and the chain rollers.
- Manually verify the chain tension, if necessary adjust as following while ensuring that the
carriage is perpendicular to the mast.
- Untighten the lock nut 1 (fig. B3) of the chain tension adjuster.
- Adjust the tension by tightening or untightening the nut 2 (fig. B3) while checking the alignment of the lifting chains.
- Then block the lock nut 1 (fig. B3) and the nut 2 (fig. B3).
These checks are important for the good working operation of the mast. In case of technical faults, consult your dealer.
