B14 - Clean and lubricate the turret’s
fifth wheel coupling
Raise the jib and place the jib safety wedge
on the rod of the lifting cylinder (see: 1 -
OPERATING AND SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS: LIFT TRUCK MAINTENANCE
INSTRUCTIONS).
Lubrication of rolling system:
The fifth wheel coupling has grease nipples
on the outside (Fig.B14/1) to lubricate the
rolling system.
Clean the grease nipples on the fifth wheel
coupling (Fig.B14/1). Make sure that no
detergent penetrates into the rolling
system or damages the protective seals,
then proceed by lubricating (see lubricant
and grease table) so that a film of fresh gre-
ase appears along the entire edge of the
labyrinths or protective seals themselves.
Toothing lubrication:
There must always be a film of grease on
the toothing (Fig.B14/2). Lubricate by hand
with a brush (see lubricant
and grease table).

Sollevare il braccio e collocare il cuneo di
sicurezza sullo stelo del martinetto di solle-
vamento (vedere: 1 - ISTRUZIONI E NORME DI
SICUREZZA: ISTRUZIONI DI MANUTENZIONE
DEL CARRELLO ELEVATORE).
Lubrificazione del sistema di
rotolamento:
La ralla esternamente è munita di ingras-
satori (Fig.B14/1) per la lubrificazione del
sistema di rotolamento.
Pulire gli ingrassatori sulla ralla (Fig.B14/1)
facendo attenzione che nessun detergente
penetri nel sistema di rotolamento o dan-
neggi le guarnizioni di protezione, proce-
dere con la lubrificazione (vedere tabella
lubrificanti e grassi) in modo tale che un
film di grasso fresco si veda uscire lungo
l’intera periferia dei labirinti o dalle guarni-
zioni di protezione.
Lubrificazione della dentatura:
Sulla dentatura deve sempre essere pre-
sente un film di grasso (Fig.B14/2), lubrifi-
care manualmente con un pennello
(vedere tabella lubrificanti e grassi).

Lubricación del sistema de rodamiento:
El acoplamiento pose externamente engra-
sadores (Fig.B14/1) para la lubricación del
sistema de rodamiento.
Limpiar los engrasadores en el acoplamiento
(Fig.B14/1) prestando atención que ningún
detergente penetre en el sistema de roda-
miento ni dañe las juntas de protección,
efectuar la lubricación (véase tabla lubrican-
tes y grasas) en modo tal que una película
de grasa fresca se vea salir a lo largo de toda
la parte periférica de los laberintos o de las
juntas de protección.
Lubricación de los dientes:
En los dientes debe estar siempre presente
una película de grasa
(Fig. B14/2), lubricar manualmente con un
pincel.
